Refund Policy

1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to all paid products and services offered by Xernu Ltd (“Xernu”, “we”, “us”), including Calynote, ADHDmate, Uno-SAP, and any future products operated under the Xernu umbrella.
By making a payment for any Xernu product, you agree to the terms of this policy, together with our Terms of Service.
2. Subscriptions
Most Xernu products are billed as recurring subscriptions (monthly or annually).
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing hello@xernu.com.
- Cancellation stops future renewals. You retain access to paid features until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
- We do not provide pro-rata refunds for unused time in a billing period unless required by applicable law.
- Annual plans are non-refundable after the first 14 days of the initial purchase, except as described in Section 3.
3. 14-day satisfaction window
For first-time paid subscribers to any Xernu product, we offer a 14-day satisfaction window. If you are not satisfied with the service within 14 days of your first paid charge, contact us at hello@xernu.com and we will issue a full refund.
This window applies only to your first paid subscription for a given product. It does not apply to renewals, upgrades, or repeat purchases.
4. One-time purchases and add-ons
Some products may offer one-time purchases (for example, lifetime licences or add-on credits). These are refundable within 7 days of purchase, provided the purchased feature or credit has not been substantially used.
5. Failed or duplicate charges
If you are charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge or a charge after a confirmed cancellation — contact us at hello@xernu.com with the transaction reference. We will investigate and refund verified erroneous charges in full within 7 business days.
6. How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method used at checkout. Refunds are processed through our licensed payment providers and typically reflect on your account within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Refunds are issued in the same currency in which the original payment was made. We do not refund any difference caused by currency conversion or third-party bank fees.
7. Non-refundable items
The following are not eligible for refund:
- Payments older than the windows described in Sections 3 and 4
- Charges where the account has been suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service
- Third-party fees charged by payment providers, banks, or card issuers
- Free trials, promotional credits, or services provided at no charge
8. Chargebacks and disputes
We encourage you to contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most billing issues can be resolved directly within a few business days.
If a chargeback is raised without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend the associated account pending resolution. Disputed charges that are found to be valid may result in account termination and recovery of any owed amounts.
9. How to request a refund
To request a refund, email hello@xernu.com with:
- The email address associated with your account
- The product (Calynote, ADHDmate, Uno-SAP, etc.)
- The transaction reference or approximate date of charge
- A brief reason for the refund request
We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days and resolve them within 7 business days.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email or via an in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
